Colours

Our primary colours play a crucial role in enabling our clients to easily connect and resonate with our master brand EPI-USE. Our meticulously crafted corporate colour system primarily revolves around the captivating hue of blue, elegantly infused with a subtle hint of red, which seamlessly harmonises with the authentic essence of the EPI-USE brand.

Primary color palette

Adherence to our three core colours within the brand palette is a strategic choice that transcends aesthetic appeal, serving as a cornerstone of our visual identity.

These specific hues have been meticulously selected to embody the essence of our brand. By consistently applying these colors across all branded materials, we create a cohesive and instantly recognisable identity that fosters brand recognition and trust.

This disciplined use of color not only ensures visual harmony but also reinforces our brand story, imbuing every touchpoint with our distinctive character.

Common use cases for colours

To support the EPI-USE brand, we have provided a few examples of where colours are most commonly used and their intended role within the brand.

Midnight blue

Use Midnight Blue to add contrast to designs and compositions, dominating the scene with strong presence of EPI-USE.

Used for primary headings on all collateral.
Use for primary and secondary buttons.
Use for the outline of cards and as card headings in PowerPoint presentations.
A background colour for the Table of Contents in a document design.

Crimson red

Crimson Red is always used sparingly and only for highlighting elements to the maximum. Additionally, Crimson Red should always be used for for smaller elements, never for large spaces.

Use on “Call To Action” buttons.
Use for primary bulleted lists.

Pale blue

Pale blue adds to the hierarchy of colours and follows Midnight blue as a means to differentiate elements that deserve attention. Because pale blue does not offer the same contrast, it has unique limitations.

Used only for bolded secondary headings on a white background.
Used for secondary bullets.

Transparency and blur effect

Our primary colours are Crimson Red, Midnight Blue and Pale Blue. They can be used with varying levels of opacity adjustment and combined with a background blur. This combination of transparency and blur offers a modern alternative to traditional tinting or shading techniques.

Transparency

Transparency allows for the use of lighter shades of the same colours, which creates a dynamic consistency in the brand.

Background blur

Background blur creates a modern effect. It is important to note that the shape with a background blur should not have blurred edges, and should maintain crisp outlines. A default of 16px surface blur should be used.
